GigaStrat Overview
What is GigaStrat?
GigaStrat is an onchain system that blends lending and borrowing with a treasury strategy focused on accumulating ETH. Each IOU represents a fraction of a loan, while the manager simultaneously issues a governance token called GG, backed by the protocol's ETH treasury.
For Lenders
Fund loans and receive IOU tokens representing your share. Interest accrues automatically, and you can convert IOUs to GG tokens for treasury exposure.
For GG Holders
Hold governance tokens backed by the protocol's ETH treasury. Burn GG to claim your proportional share of accumulated ETH.
Example Scenario
If you hold 1 GG token, the system raises $100,000 in loans, and ETH price doubles, approximately $100,000 worth of ETH remains as profit in the treasury after repaying loans plus interest. Your single GG token now represents this additional ETH value.
